Job Title: Corporate Paralegal - Full-Time W2 Contractor
Location: Chicago, IL
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a dynamic Corporate Paralegal with expertise in M&A and corporate governance. You'll tackle complex legal matters, ensure compliance, and facilitate smooth transactions. This role is onsite for the first 90 days, then offers a flexible schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. A permanent position is highly likely for a motivated candidate who can hit the ground running. This firm is growing fast get your foot in the door now, plus NO ANNUAL BILLABLE HOUR REQUIREMENT. They are actively interviewing and looking to make a quick hire to get started ASAP.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage corporate filings and governance.
- Support M&A transactions with due diligence and document management.
- Maintain corporate records and compliance documents.
- Assist with board and shareholder meetings.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in M&A and corporate governance supporting attorneys in a US law firm as a Paralegal.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms, case management software, and MS Office Suite.
Compensation: $30-$44 per hour, depending on experience.
