A packaging company in the Azusa, California area is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to support legal operations across contract management, compliance, and regulatory filings. This position plays a key role in coordinating legal documentation and supporting internal legal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Maintain legal tracking systems and monitor filing deadlines for compliance
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for internal use
- Update and manage contract management systems and legal databases
- Coordinate with internal departments and external legal counsel
- Assist with corporate governance records and regulatory filings
- Handle administrative legal tasks, including document organization and billing support
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a corporate or law firm environment
- Knowledge of legal terminology, corporate law, and contract law
- Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management tools
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Paralegal certification is a plus
