Our client is a provider of specialized governance, risk, and compliance advisory services to Financial Services clients.
Description
- Serve as a leader of the corporate governance program
- Become a subject matter expert with respect to corporate policies, procedures, and controls
- Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures
- Oversee the management of corporate books, records, and filings
- Maintain the intellectual property roster and manage new trademark applications
- Serve as liaison between insurance brokers and management team
- Manage legal service process strategies and monitor ongoing litigation
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding corporate governance
- Perform ad-hoc work and special projects to support various client and internal initiatives
Profile
- Bachelors Degree required
- 5-10 years experience as a Corporate Paralegal with a focus on Corporate Governance
- Experience exercising discretion and making independent judgments on matters of significance
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
