JOB SUMMARY: Arrowhead Events is looking to fill a part-time position with a highly motivated professional to support event sales approximately 29 hours per week. This position will play a significant role in the sales process with the opportunity for growth in our organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assist with scheduling, meeting, and site tour preparations, and follow-up communications
  2. Aid in the preparation of sales reports, presentations, proposals and contracts, ensuring all materials are tailored to client needs and align with services and standards of excellence
  3. Field and distribute inquiries
  4. Process payments
  5. Build and maintain client database
  6. Assist with coordination of client hosting opportunities
  7. Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives
  8. Become proficient in the use of event software
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Event Sales.

  • Previous experience in sales support, marketing, or a related role is preferred
  • Ability to work long hours & weekends
  • Reliable transportation daily

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  1. College Degree preferred, with emphasis in hospitality, events, and/or tourism.
  2. Minimum one-year event experience
  3. Flexibility in work schedule. Ability to work long hours & weekends
  4. Organized and detail oriented
  5. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, and Internet software.
  6. Demonstrated strong customer service skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Light office duties and activities, to include, but not limited to the use of a computer, calculator, copier, telephone & other office equipment.
  • Some extensive walking.
  • Occasionally long periods of standing.
  • The work involves some exposure to extreme temperatures.

HOURS REQUIRED:

Twenty-nine hours per week, primarily between 8:30 am - 5:00 PM; Monday - Friday. May be required to work home games. Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
