Tatum is engaged with a Private Equity backed client who is in need of a Sr. Corporate Development resource for an estimated 3+ month project. As this resource you would work closely with the Managing Partner putting together Deal Decks and Models. This consultant will be absorbing a large workload and will provide Margin Analysis, Competitive Analysis, M&A Spread and Deal sheets. In this role you will be a key team member of the "deal team" providing analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead deal making efforts across the company interacting with various departments for due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts
- Work with Operations leader and Executive team for drafting strategic plan
- Support the development of M&A strategy and help with pipeline generation where possible
- Evaluate market for acquisition, joint venture and strategic investment opportunities
- Work with Sales to determine new markets to open as well as improve performance in existing markets
- Build out the corporate development and strategy function for the company that would include hiring and mentoring of staff
- Preparation and presentation of Executive deck to outline strategy execution and overall company performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideal candidate will have experience in consulting, investment banking or public accounting with a focus on transaction services or advisory work
- Must have Private Equity Acquisition Experience
- Prior experience with valuation and/or M&A related work
- Must have Advanced MS Excel
- Accounting, Finance or other Business related degree
- Successful experiences partnering with Sales and Operations to drive business forward
- Outcome oriented with good ability to create compelling customer presentations
- Excellent project management skills; ability manage multiple projects across a company with various deadlines
- Well rounded background in FP&A with understanding of Accounting and reporting responsibilities
