About the Role We are seeking a talented Corporate Counsel with expertise in healthcare and technology to enhance our legal team. In this critical role, you will handle a variety of legal matters across business units, focusing on the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements and contracts. You will need a profound understanding of technology contracts, software license agreements, and US healthcare regulations, particularly HIPAA.
The ideal candidate will possess a JD degree, be in good standing with a State Bar, and have at least 3 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in international contracting and knowledge of GDPR, UK privacy laws, CCPA, and other state privacy laws is highly desirable.
Your responsibilities will include managing the complete lifecycle of corporate and commercial transactions, developing and maintaining template agreements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth objectives. We are looking for a proactive professional with strong business acumen, exceptional drafting skills, and the capability to handle a diverse range of legal matters.
The Corporate Counsel will also take initiative in identifying legal trends and potential risks in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, representing the legal needs of various business units in all interactions. This is a remote position, allowing you to contribute to a dynamic legal team within a global organization.
