Client: International data, analytics and technology company serving as a major player in the global economy as a provider of business and consumer financial data, HR solutions and fraud prevention services assisting employers, employees, financial institutions, and government agencies make critical decisions. In operation for over 100 years earning over $4.1B annual revenue and employing over 12,000.
Overview:
1. Develop and write content for internal and external use.
2. Maintain and keep content current.
3. Provide tactical support to communications programs and operations, including managing editorial calendars and related tracking and routing of documents.
Role:
- Work with the communications team to provide strategic and tactical delivery for internal announcements, executive communications, and customer communications.
- Help draft and edit content and communications including internal announcements, executive leader messages and customer communications.
- Review draft communications from internal stakeholders, with a focus on editing for grammar, AP style, clarity and brevity.
- Format, proofread and coordinate distribution of communications.
- Help with creation of internal articles and support maintenance of the intranet site.
- Provide support for town halls, as well as the communications needs of larger employee events.
- Leverage digital tools to track the results of communications initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials that effectively demonstrate the outcomes of key communications initiatives.
- Provide suggestions, ideas, and support for improving current or new communications programs and campaigns.
- Balance work between internal communications programs, priorities, and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in the corporate communications, employee communications, public relations or journalism field (may include internship experience).
- 8+ years of experience writing compelling content in accordance with AP Style guidelines.
- 8+ years of experience managing multiple projects while delivering high-quality results.
Skills that are a plus:
- Proficiency in LumApps, Poppulo, Staffbase, and/or Google Workspace.
- Experience working in a public relations agency or for a publicly traded company.
- Experience working in the financial services or technology sectors.
