Job Details:
This is a permanent, hybrid position that combines the best of both worlds: opportunity to work from home while holding an important presence in the office. As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the company's financial operations and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.

Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Perform consolidation and inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting.
4. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
5. Lead the budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and cost accounting processes.
6. Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
7. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls evaluation.
8. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process.
9. Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
10. Utilize SAP or equivalent ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
4. Proficiency in using SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
5. Strong experience in performing consolidation and reconciliation tasks.
6. Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
7. Excellent leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
