  • Display a graceful sense of urgency when completing tasks

  • Consistently meet Cornbread product recipes and quality standards
  • Record and accurately process purchases using the POS system, collect and process payments, and apply discounts according to Cornbread standards
  • Complete required training in a timely manner
PLACE: Demonstrate pride by making CLEANLINESS and safety a priority.
  • Work cleanly and safely actively identifying any suspicious activity or safety hazards and escalating to restaurant leadership.
  • Perform general duties associated with setting up/breaking down areas and stations at the start or close of a shift
  • Follow all COVID-19 protocols and meet cleanliness standards.
  • Clean coffee grinder, brewer, and espresso machines.
  • Organize products on our shelves and restock as necessary
  • Work as a team to maintain the dining room, restock condiments and utensils, and provide upkeep on the restaurant area during the shift.
  • Complete opening and closing tasks and checklists.
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly deep cleans of the cafe.
Requirements:
  • People skills: Dealing with the public and team proactively, professionally, and positively.
  • Able to be detail-oriented, focused on guest service, safety-minded, trustworthy, reliable, and efficient
  • Food Handlers certificate within 30 days or ServSafe equivalent
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and push
  • Ability to stand for long periods and climb steps
  • Proficiency in technology, reading, and writing required
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors throughout the shift, Gurus spend 70% of the shift in a temperature-controlled environment and 20% in outdoor areas, the remaining 10% in kitchen, prep, or storage areas
