Axis is searching for a passionate Product Champion to drive the success of our CORE Technology. The best qualified candidate for the position will be the primary advocate for the product, responsible for bridging the gap between customers, sales, marketing, and product development and ensuring that the product meets market needs, gains adoption, and achieves business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Act as the primary advocate and expert for the product, internally and externally.
- Collaborate with the Technology team to ensure features align with customer needs.
- Partner with sales and marketing to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to influence product improvements and roadmaps.
- Train and enable sales teams to effectively communicate product value propositions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Drive product adoption through customer engagement, training, and education initiatives.
- Support launch activities, including content creation, webinars, and events.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to effectively advocate for the product.
- Ability to translate technical details into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.
- Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional experiences.
