We are looking for a Compliance Consultant with 3 or more years of experience in the mortgage industry. We have a strong focus in the independent broker space, so any experience with this group would be great, but not required. See below for desired skills and job duties.
Job Duties:
• Perform introduction/welcome calls for new clients.
• Communicate with clients in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
• Answer client questions thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Assist clients with licensing applications/NMLS needs.
• Review client's company website and social media accounts for state/federal advertising requirements.
• Perform advertising reviews on print ads, social media posts, videos, etc.
• Assist clients with pipeline management (review of applications, how to adverse/disposition applications, etc.).
• Complete Mortgage Call Reports and annual or quarterly Financial Condition Report.
• Perform file reviews for disclosure and record retention requirements.
Skills:
• 3+ years of mortgage compliance experience;
• Experience with Mortgage Compliance Advertising and/or Mortgage Licensing process;
• College Degree or related experience
• Experience with Mortgage Brokers preferred
• Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written);
• Ability to multi-task;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to maintain productivity in a remote work setting; and
• Basic Computer and Home Office Maintenance abilities.
