Position Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Coordinator of Regional Marketing & Partnerships to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating events with local sports teams and supporting community outreach programs for our grocery stores. You will help build relationships with local organizations, create memorable experiences for our customers, and ensure that our brand is deeply connected to the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities: - Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute events with local sports teams and other regional partners to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Community Outreach: Support and manage local community outreach programs, including partnerships with schools, charities, and community organizations. Ensure the store's involvement aligns with our values and enhances our brand's presence in the region.
- Partnership Management: Develop and nurture relationships with local sports teams, community groups, and regional influencers to create opportunities for collaboration, co-marketing, and sponsorships.
- Marketing Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of regional marketing campaigns to promote events, special promotions, and store initiatives.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with local store managers, corporate marketing teams, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of all events and outreach activities.
- Budget Management: Help track and manage event and partnership budgets, ensuring all activities are executed within financial guidelines.
- Reporting & Metrics: Monitor the success of events and partnerships, track key performance metrics, and provide regular reports on community engagement and event outcomes.
- Brand Representation: Act as the brand ambassador for the grocery store at local events, ensuring that all marketing materials, promotions, and messaging are consistent with company standards.
- Negotiation: securing overall sponsorship details to include brand positioning, team sponsorship, field boards and onsite activations. Coordination with Regional Operations Coordinator to ensure execution is complete.
- Ad Hoc Requests: Cross functional duties within the HR department will be requested periodically based on team needs. Knowledge on all systems uses within the HR department will be required.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, partnerships, or community relations, preferably in a retail or grocery setting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Creative thinking with a passion for community engagement and local marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for event execution.
