Position Overview Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Coordinator of Creative Services to play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Creative Team. This position will serve as the primary gatekeeper of our creative work order system and help guide projects from initial request through final delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creative processes, brand alignment and cross-functional coordination.
This role reports directly to the Manager of Creative Projects and works closely with departments across the organization to ensure timely and effective execution of creative deliverables that support all HSE brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between the Creative Team and internal departments requesting design, animation or photography support.
- Assist with the daily management of Adobe Workfront, HSE's project tracking and workflow management system.
- Coordinate and track the creative lifecycle of projects - from intake and scheduling to approvals and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Team to ensure consistency in brand messaging across platforms.
- Prepare and distribute agendas and meeting recaps, prioritizing high-impact projects and creative deliverables.
- Build and manage timelines for recurring, seasonal and ad hoc creative projects in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Schedule and support recurring team meetings and check-ins in collaboration with the Manager of Creative Projects.
- Maintain and improve creative team processes including:
- Gameday graphics distribution
- Digital display monitoring
- Adobe Workfront onboarding
- Creative work order submission
- Manage freelance support for design and photography, including onboarding and scheduling.
- Partner with the Manager of Creative Projects to develop and maintain file organization and project folder architecture.
- Generate and share project status reports and workload insights using Adobe Workfront for department leaders and stakeholders.
- Support additional creative team initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Demonstrate an understanding of creative workflows and basic design principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail, particularly in project tracking and communication.
- Proactive and process-oriented, with a strong desire to establish and maintain efficient systems.
- Basic understanding of budget tracking and financial documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
- Experience using project management software (preferably Adobe Workfront or similar).
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage competing priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Must be dependable and committed to punctuality, consistency and accountability.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and all Hornets home games and Spectrum Center events as needed.
