We are looking for a self-disciplined, enthusiastic, inquisitive, and approachable professional to support the Commercial Sales team in all their sales efforts. A candidate with experience in beauty or luxury brand sales or account management is preferred but not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Sales organization by establishing strong, multi-level working relationships with key internal stakeholders at Tru and outside clients.
- Prioritize personal workload (and that of a given project) daily with clear communication on deliverables for the week and coming weeks.
- Ensure hand-offs between cross-functional partners run smoothly and efficiently.
- Day-to-day assistance with brands and clients may include; PO management (key focus), business deck creation and organization, financial forecasting assistance, marketing and sampling coordination, creation of sales collateral materials, meeting and status coordination (specifically meeting recap note collection and distribution), sample shipment organization, etc.
- Serve as the central hub internally for customer follow-up and maintenance, managing expectations and proactively solving issues.
- Ensure customer and brand folders are consistently updated, organized and information is easily accessible to the rest of the organization.
- Create new and improve existing SOPs within the commercial sales department
- Understand the financial impact of decisions and assist in managing costs associated with supporting the business.
- Obtain an expert knowledge of our customers and competitors, brands, and value proposition.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, sales, marketing, public relations, communications or other related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in commercial sales management, new business development, brand partnerships, brand management, agency client service or sales, ideally in the beauty, fashion or related industry. Experience in account sales, customer marketing, merchandising, talent relationships, technology and across various mediums- content, retail, social and digital is valued.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, proactive follow up, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (key focus), PowerPoint, Word, etc. and the ability and willingness to learn other internal systems as necessary. Ability to navigate creative programs such as Adobe InDesign are valued.
- Willingness to travel as needed, which is estimated at 15%.
