The Coordinator, Retail Marketing supports the Retail Marketing team in the planning, development, and execution of marketing plans and communications for designated key accounts across all league licenses. This role will provide operational assistance and project coordination on various initiatives focused on driving brand awareness, sell-in and sell-through of product at our wholesale/third-party retail environments.
Responsibilities - Supports the development and execution of retail marketing projects in brick-and-mortar locations or on digital platforms for key wholesale accounts across each league license (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, MiLB, and others)
- Assists with project coordination for initiatives inclusive of campaign execution at retail, events and activations, analysis of retail account buys, and competitive research
- Works with internal Marketing and Creative teams to bring brand campaigns to life at retail, inclusive of asset creation process for print and digital usage, print production, and on-site installation
- Partners with Legal, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and other internal departments to ensure all standard operating procedures are completed through each step of the purchase request and order fulfillment processes
- Functions as the liaison between New Era and production/fabrication vendor partners to ensure all necessary steps are completed in the order fulfillment process for each project
- Responsible for tracking and management of both project-specific and annual department budgets
- Partners with key cross-functional business partners (Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Merchandising, License Management, etc.) to ensure the brand's product and creative vision is carried through to each environment, and drive deeper, and more relevant storytelling
- Analyzes the impact above projects have on the sell-through of New Era product; analyzes ROI and other applicable KPIs
- Keep all sensitive matters confidential
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors - Excellent project management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of core Marketing principles, licensed product, and wholesale retail
- Comprehension of financial data and budget tracking
- Energetic and outgoing person who embraces a fast-paced work environment and approaches projects with a sense of urgency and a solution-based mentality
- Ability to handle changing priorities and work collaboratively across organizational structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) a plus
Education / Experience - Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field Relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in working in an office environment preferred
