Resurrection has an opening for a Coordinating Assistant in the Resurrection Experience division. This position is full-time, non-exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Please see below for a full job description.

Job Summary

The Coordinating Assistant provides administrative support for the Lead Directors of the Resurrection Experience (RXP) division and helps manage daily operations for each ministry team. This position is also a member of the church-wide Administrative Professional team, which develops administrative professionals across the organization, focusing on skills, cross-training, use of technological tools and cross-divisional collaboration.

Position-Specific
  • Professionally represent the supported staff team, including serving as an initial point of contact with inquiring congregants, answering questions and routing phone calls.
  • Maintain calendars for the Lead Director(s) and ministry team(s), exercising professional discretion regarding scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Maintain databases, registrations and surveys and generate Asana reporting as needed.
  • Provide support for operational matters related to the office and daily business operations, including administrative oversight for projects and events such as making room reservations, overseeing and assisting with setup, invitations, catering, and taking minutes.
  • Oversee travel arrangements for supported staff team members, including transportation, lodging, and expense reimbursement.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team on e-newsletters, website updates, and Canva digital/print assets.
  • Works with the Marketing and Engagement Lead Director and Director of Software & Data Management to maintain a list of Marketing & Engagement (M&E) priorities and timelines in Asana project management software.
  • Creates and maintains Marketing and Engagement communications standards and guidelines documents.
  • Support the oversight of the M&E team budgets and expenses, including purchasing, expense reimbursements, credit card reconciliations, contractual arrangements, and budget planning.
  • Maintain the Resurrection Experience division's digital asset boards in Whimsical.
  • Enter software requests as received into Asana in a timely manner and communicate with stakeholders regarding their requests with follow up as necessary
  • Participate in Software Team meetings including daily stand up, effort meetings, and Sprint Start/End meetings
  • Create and perform updates to Rock event registrations, reports, and manage permissions as necessary
  • Provide administrative support, when directed, to assist other parts of the Division and Church.
  • General administrative support and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in database management and Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of other software, such as Asana and expense management software, such as Concur.
  • Technical proficiency - demonstrates high comfort with standard software applications and experience with Canva and Rock, Resurrection's people management system.
