Your Role as a Cook
- Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals catering to special diets and preferences.
- Follow the menu program and create attractive plate presentations that appeal to the eye and taste buds.
- Assist in planning special events to enhance the resident experience through food and activities.
- Foster a resident-centered dining experience, addressing concerns and preferences promptly.
- Adhere to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ensure that every resident is treated with the utmost privacy, respect, and dignity.
- Complete state-required training upon hire and annually to maintain compliance.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of prior cooking experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills: read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- State Criminal Background Check and LIC 503 Health Screening Report required.
