Summary This position is located at Warrior Lanes Bowling Center on Fort Johnson in Leesville, LA. Responsibilities Performs a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing, such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and fresh or canned vegetables. Weighs, measures, and assembles ingredients for regular and modified menu items. Mixes ingredients according to precisely written recipes. Disassembles, cleans and assembles component parts and accessories, following safety procedures to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment. Must be able to lift or move objects up to 40 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing over 40 pounds with the assistance of other workers or lifting devices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications The minimum qualifications for this position are: Work experience in preparing foods and cooking simple foods and short orders in a cafeteria, restaurant, or dining facility. Demonstration of the following work behavior is desirable: Neatness and good grooming Dependability Ability to work under pressure Qualifying prior work experience must be clearly described within your resume. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of .
