Cook - St. Bernardine Medical Center As a Cook at St. Bernardine Medical Center, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. Using safe food-handling and preparation techniques, you will support the delivery of meals that meet both general and therapeutic dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare meals in accordance with prescribed therapeutic diets and standard recipes.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain consistency and quality in food preparation, presentation, and portion control.
- Support kitchen operations by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely meal service.
- Collaborate with the dietary and clinical teams to help ensure patient satisfaction and nutrition goals are met.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, values, and quality initiatives of St. Bernardine Medical Center.

Qualifications
- One (1) year food service experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Food Handler Permit is a requirement by San Bernardino County; you must obtain it within 30 days of hire.
