Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Food Production supervisor, the Cook prepares, seasons, cooks, portions and serves food for Hospital patients, employees and visitors, including catered functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required within two years of hire
- Additional education from technical school specializing in hotel, restaurant or institutional cooking (is preferred)
- Minimum of one year of institutional cooking experience
- Ability to read/write/speak in English
