Cook Full-Time/SeasonalNon-Exempt/Hourly This position supports the Executive Chef, and management of our various Food & Beverage locations throughout the club including The Grille, Chateau & Windy Valley Farms, and special events by preparing recipes with an attention-to-detail and sense of urgency. It is a multifaceted position that will assist, but not limited to; Food & Beverage Service, Day Camp, Childcare, Member & Guest Check In, Membership, Park Operations, Park Maintenance, Events and Catering.
Responsibilities - Prepare standardized recipes in our kitchens for all food and beverage locations. Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and meats;
- Prepare appetizers, salads, main dishes, desserts, and fast food items with proper presentation;
- Provide excellent customer service. Take orders from customers using order slips, memorization, or entering orders into our system
- Work all hot and cold stations of the line including boiling, baking, grilling, frying. Utilize knife skills and kitchen tools and equipment.
- Carry out responsibilities, including providing orders to guests accurately, quickly, and in a welcoming manner
- Develop daily preparation lists for anticipated business, monitor inventories, and receive orders; Stock and execute proper rotation of all products;
- Support other positions around the park including, but not limited to, Special Events, Catering, Park Operations, Camp, and Childcare.
- General cleaning including, but not limited to, washing dishes, and cookware, taking out the trash, sanitizing kitchen equipment and work stations, bathrooms, and sweeping and mopping floors in all locations around the club
- Communicate efficiently and work in a team-oriented environment to ensure smooth service operations;
- Demonstrate strong attention-to-detail, organizational, retention and problem-solving skills even while working under a sense of urgency;
- Ensures compliance with food safety certification and standards following all local, state, and federal requirements;
- Follow all safety and health guidelines as outlined by the company; and,
- Assist all other departments as needed. All other duties as assigned or required through out the club.
- Organize and maintain all storage facilities through out the park as needed.
- Maintain positive interaction with all members, guests and fellow staff.
Qualifications - 18+ years old;
- 2+ years cook/line cook/prep cook experience required;
- Knowledge of HACCP, proper food handling techniques, temperatures, and food safety including food allergies;
- ServSafe Certification a plus;
- Lift 50+ pounds and stand for an extended period of time;
- Ability to work flexible shift/hours including weekday, evening & weekend hours;
- Ability to work overtime if needed; Always Punctual
- Energetic and motivated. Must display a positive attitude and professional image in compliance with PADONIA.
Skills - Eager to learn and understand the organization and services provided. A self-starter with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively problem solve;
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Computer literacy; working knowledge of all Microsoft applications; and ability to learn various software programs to efficiently carry out day-to-day operations

Environmental Conditions and Physical Expectations: - Must stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, reach, and climb continuously
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders. Work with tools and equipment. Lift, move, push, and carry 50lbs often.
- Must be able to work in both indoors and at outdoor venues that include a variety of weather conditions including hot or cold temperatures; and,
- Ability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
