Description: Assistant Kitchen Manager (6.5 Hours/Day). Job Summary: - Conduct majority of preparation responsibilities.
- Manage work load, routines, and schedules of kitchen staff.
- Provide high level of customer service to students, families, and staff.
- Engage in a variety of duties in a school cafeteria.
- Light prep and serving.
- Dishwashing.
- Cashiering and clean up.
- Assist the kitchen manager as needed.
Qualifications: - Must be able to monitor and maintain appropriate inventories for planned menus (breakfast and a la carte)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information required.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal language skills.
- Prior food service experience in quantity cooking and food preparation preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
- Position involves lifting, twisting, and turning.
- A positive attitude is essential.
