Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a Cook 3 to join the hotel's opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. Opening in early 2025, the property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. What you will be responsible for: - Food preparation and presentation in one or more stations of a large commercial kitchen: pantry, saute, grill.
- Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistent preparation according to guest specifications
- Participate in cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment
- Assist with proper storage, preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items
- Assist with food preparation in advance of food service hours
- Follow all safety guidelines include safe-handling of food items, knife safety, safe usage of kitchen equipment, etc.
