Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain standards of work and conduct as determined by the Director of Child Nutrition and General Wellness.
- Preparation of all types of food acording to State and Federal guidelines
- Wash dishes, sweep and mop kitchen area, as needed
- Cleans all equipment used
- Serve food to students and staff
- Aid in taking inventory of food and supplies and restocks storage areas as food and supplies are received
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications: - A valid Wyoming County Foodhandlers Permit
- Proficient in all areas of cooking and food preparation with a background in institutional or commercial cooking preferred
- Should be able to read recipes and make necessary calculations for ingredient measurements
- Should have a functional working skill in the operation of all types of school kitchen equipment
- Must pass WVDE cook competency test
Employment Term: 200 days
