Afternoon Hours 2:30pm-10:30pmJob Summary: The Cook II position is an intermediate-level role responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with moderate supervision. The individual in this role demonstrates a higher level of culinary skill and knowledge, contributing to the kitchen operations.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist the team with daily tasks.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Participate in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred.
- 2+ years of professional cooking experience.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and culinary terminology.
- Ability to follow and adapt recipes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
