Cook II (Intermediate-Level Cook)
Afternoon Hours 2:30pm-10:30pm


Job Summary: The Cook II position is an intermediate-level role responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with moderate supervision. The individual in this role demonstrates a higher level of culinary skill and knowledge, contributing to the kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to recipes and standards.
  • Assist the team with daily tasks.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Participate in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional cooking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and culinary terminology.
  • Ability to follow and adapt recipes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
