Chief Operating Officer
We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer who will be responsible for managing all manufacturing operations. The COO is a Senior Leadership position that oversees all Engineering, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and Maintenance. The COO will be responsible for planning, scheduling, quality control, safety, and maintenance. In addition, the COO will work closely with other departments and company leaders to establish new procedures, improve overall manufacturing operations and efficiencies, and develop a team of star employees.
Job Duties:
- Actively participate on the Senior Leadership Team and work collaboratively with the other Senior Leaders.
- Responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan for operations that aligns with the Strategic Plan
- Responsible for overseeing all manufacturing, warehouse, logistics and engineering operations
- Direct, mentor, and discipline all direct reports and identified high potentials.
- Drive continuous improvement through respective operations.
- Develop and implement appropriate KPI's for all aspects of operations.
- Responsible for understanding and managing all respective budgets.
- Responsible for identifying gaps that we need to overcome in the professional development of our operation's employee group.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
- 10 years in a manufacturing environment and 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft suite, advanced skill level preferred.
- Experience in a custom manufacturing environment a plus.
- Must be a self-starter and highly ambitious towards completing company goals.
