Job Summary

As a Convenience Store Team Lead, you will provide guidance and coaching to team members while ensuring safe, efficient, and pleasant customer experiences. You will also assist the store leader in supervising and leading the team.

Job Description
  • Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
  • Experience Desired: Supervisory Experience, Customer Service/Retail Experience
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or Licensing Preferred: Food Safety
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety is the top priority for team members, customers, and products.
  • Provide efficient and pleasant food service while coaching team members and maintaining exemplary service to vendors and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a fast, friendly culture by sharing warmth and passion for service with the team and customers.
  • Oversee new team member training and ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide training and leadership to hourly team members and peer leads.
  • Proactively monitor competitor fuel pricing and address equipment issues.
  • Assist store leader with scheduling, adjustments, merchandising, and promotional activities.
  • Be the face of the store at the registers, ensuring quick and friendly service to customers.
  • Nurture an environment of inclusion and diversity.
