Job Description:
(Seeking HVAC controls experience)
• Provide bid estimates and proposals for Building Automation projects.
• Bid and manage long term customer relationships to secure new construction opportunities.
• Review plans and specifications in order to produce estimates for projects
• Perform walk throughs of existing facilities to identify solutions and provide estimates
• Work with contractors and subcontractors, giving clear scope and direction
• Work with consulting engineers to influence specifications
• Identifying issues, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Creating detailed proposals for bid day
• Negotiating bids with customers and contractors
• Creating competitive, accurate, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis
• Effectively writing, presenting, and communicating bids
• Negotiating value, addressing resistance when demonstrated and closing the sale with optimal profit levels.
• Analyzing customer needs with the help of a manager
• Effectively partner with company-wide team members to accurately quantify materials and labor costs
• Working closely with customers, architects and engineers to ensure satisfaction and provide technical support
• Preparing pre-design documentation and budgeting for customers
