We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Controls Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting role is for a professional who is passionate about designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and components. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the development of new manufacturing processes, improvements to existing processes, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of control systems and a solid background in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and components, including PanelBuilder, driveExecutive, DriveExplorer, and Ethernet.
- Working with PLC, Ford, F150, Raptor, Vehicle, Conveyor, Robotic, Welder, Armorstart, VFD, and Motor Control systems.
- Utilizing EtherNet/IP, PanelView, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Guardlogix, PowerFlex, movifit, next gen, plc5, and ControlLogix.
- Debugging and troubleshooting control systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on projects related to General Motors, GM, Stellantis, and American Axle.
- Integrating new technologies and systems into existing manufacturing processes.
- Using RSView, FTView, Studio5000, and RSLogix5000 to monitor and control systems.
- Providing technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of control systems and components, including PanelBuilder, driveExecutive, DriveExplorer, Ethernet, ControlNet, PLC, and more.
- Experience with vehicle systems, including Ford, F150, and Raptor.
- Familiarity with conveyor, robotic, welder, Armorstart, VFD, and motor control systems.
- Proficiency with EtherNet/IP, PanelView, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Guardlogix, PowerFlex, movifit, next gen, plc5, and ControlLogix.
- Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot control systems and components.
- Experience with General Motors, GM, Stellantis, and American Axle.
- Solid understanding of RSView, FTView, Studio5000, and RSLogix5000.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
