Controls Engineer

We are seeking an innovative and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems across various projects. What You Will Do

  • Project Development & Feasibility:
  • Assist in feasibility studies and contribute to cost estimation for new projects.
  • System Architecture & Design:
  • Design and develop system architecture (PLC/HMI/DCS, I/O, networks, and computer infrastructure).
  • Create electrical control panel designs and detailed schematics.
  • Control & Automation Programming:
  • Develop, implement, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
  • Allen-Bradly experiance.
  • Program and support robotic systems.
  • Build and refine HMI/SCADA applications and screen designs.
  • Equipment Design & Maintenance:
  • Design, build, and maintain specialized assembly and test equipment.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Maintain open communication with project managers throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates on progress, risks, and costs.
  • Continuous Learning:
  • Stay current with industry trends and vendor offerings to recommend and integrate innovative solutions aligned with our business needs.

What You Will Need for the Role

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred (relevant work experience can substitute for a formal degree).
  • Professional Experience:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in control systems engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of process control principles.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, robotic programming, and HMI/SCADA development.
  • Familiarity with industrial network communication protocols.
  • Experience with electrical control systems design and schematic development is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex control systems and develop effective solutions.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple project priorities, and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
