Job Description:
Summary: The primary role of the Controls Engineer is to estimate, design, and commission control systems. This position also involves responding to emergency situations when equipment fails and assisting clients on-site to restore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement equipment/systems ensuring compliance, quality, technical performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot various industrial control platforms at customer sites.
- Communicate effectively with customers to manage projects, gather feedback, resolve issues, and address concerns.
- Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting control systems and performing engineering duties related to automation equipment on machinery.
- Proficiency in PLC programming with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.
- Expertise in SCADA development with Ignition.
- Experience with VFDs, electrical systems, and servos.
