Job Description: Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and interpret logic and flow diagrams for program development
  • Commission industrial fieldbus networks such as Profibus, Profinet, and EthernetIP
  • Integrate and program multi-axis robotic systems (Kuka, Fanuc, ABB)
  • Program and troubleshoot Cognex vision systems
  • Review and modify electrical schematics to reflect as-built conditions
  • Conduct I/O checks for automated equipment
  • Execute minor electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical modifications to systems

Qualifications:

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience programming PLCs such as Siemens S7, Allen Bradley RSLogix500/5000
  • Familiarity with HMI platforms including WinCC Flex, PanelBuilder, RSView / RSView 32
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficient in commissioning automation and control systems

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of managing challenging situations with sound judgment
  • Effective collaborator across departments and with clients
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to unique project requirements

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
  • Must possess a valid passport throughout employment
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on engineering experience in controls or automation
