Systems Engineer (Automation)
GENERAL: Responsible for the design and technical management of systems and other related projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the design of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems.
Develops system standards and specifications.
Generates ECRs and requests for system enhancements.
Evaluates ECRs for technical and/or economical advantages.
Supports Marketing and Sales on technical and quotation activities.
Gives customer training courses both in the field and at the factory.
Supports Customer Service. Acts as technical liaison for customer problems and performs field services when required.
Performs engineering studies related to system problems or new requirements.
Responsible for the technical support of System Test technicians on project-related issues.
Participates in product planning and definition.
Writes system documentation.
Creates Parts Lists/Bill of Materials.
Develops Equipment Layout and Interconnection Drawings.
Creates Points Lists / Point Assignment Charts.
Creates SCADA Displays and Database.
Programs RTUs/Gateways.
Employee will adhere to all company ISO 9001 procedures and standards.
Travels when necessary.
Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
BS/BE or EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
EXPERIENCE:
3 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH A VARIETY OF COMPUTER HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PRODUCTS. NETWORKING, PLC KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL.
