Siemens Energy is seekingan Engineer for our Combustion Products Division to innovate and improve ourmanufacturing processes and equipment reliability. This role requires a blendof project management, continuous improvement, and strong internal communicationskills, alongside a mechanical and controls aptitude and problem-solvingprowess, to enhance production capabilities and drive excellence in the energysector.

How You'llMake an Impact:
  • Identify and support projects aimed atenhancing manufacturing capabilities, yields, productivity, and capacity,by while designing and integrating new data capture and analysis tools viaIoT and using Lean Manufacturing principles where applicable.
  • Develop and deliver technicaldocumentation, estimates, reports, and training materials based on processdata to facilitate knowledge transfer and process improvement.
  • Provide technical direction and trainingto internal teams and suppliers, ensuring alignment with best practicesand operational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze production andequipment performance metrics to maintain cost and quality targets,focusing on production yield, defect reduction, and machine uptime.
  • Manage individual Root Cause Analysisinvestigations and report-outs in response to machine and process failuresencountered.
  • Assist in asset and process management,including conducting operational audits, managing scrap processes and rootcauses, and training personnel and lead special projects as directed bymanagement.
What YouBring:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical,electrical, or manufacturing engineering, or an associate's degree withequivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in amanufacturing environment focused on machine programming, troubleshooting,and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-outprocedures and mechanical skills for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Proficient in programming logiccontrollers (PLC) and networking IoT devices and sensors.
  • Knowledge of lean concepts, MRP systems,quality control, and predictive maintenance systems is essential.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, andcommunication skills; preferred qualifications include EHS knowledge andequipment safety protocols; must be authorized to work in the U.S. withoutsponsorship.

Zeroor low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steamturbines and generators.
