Job Details

If you're a financial leader who thrives in fast-moving, high-energy environments, this is the opportunity for you. You'll work closely with the CEO, refine financial processes, and create scalable systems that keep us ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Close books by the 15th of each month, deliver variance reports by the 20th, and streamline financial reporting.
• Strategic Planning: Establish budgeting within 90 days and lead financial forecasting to support growth.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance financial policies and internal controls within 6 months.
• Cost & Revenue Management: Improve AR collections (30-45 days), bad debt policies, and expense tracking within 3 months.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Train managers within 60 days on using financial reports to improve decision-making.
• Scalability & Compliance: Develop a 3-year financial strategy to align with expansion goals.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct profitability modeling, cost analysis, and operational reporting to refine pricing and margins.

Who You Are:

• A proactive, results-driven Controller with expertise in financial management, budgeting, and process improvement.
• A strategic thinker who thrives in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments.
• Experienced in transportation/logistics finance or similar complex industries.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in financial leadership, preferably in transportation/logistics.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, ERP, and accounting software.
