Bridget Killen with Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Controller with a proven track record in financial leadership and expertise in the construction industry in Dallas, Oregon. This highly visible role will allow you to contribute to strategic financial planning, oversee daily operations, and drive results that position you for elevated leadership as the next CFO. The selected candidate will be expected to manage all accounting functions, oversee the accounting team, prepare financial reports and budgets, manage banking relationships and accounts, and provide executives with financial information and guidance. Responsibilities:
• Supervision and management of all accounting-related functions, including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
• Oversee the Accounting team's activities, focusing particularly on monthly billings, job cost procedures, and monthly project financial review reports
• Conduct bank reconciliation tasks and manage banking relationships and accounts
• Prepare and present all monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, including WIP Schedules and statements
• Develop, implement, and monitor annual overhead budgets, providing monthly analysis and reporting on performance
• Coordinate with external CPA for review and audit of statements
• Act ethically and professionally at all times, providing executives with financial information and guidance on decisions, processes, and controls.
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in handling all Accounting Functions.
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)/ Accounts Receivable (AR).
•Experience in construction industry
• Strong knowledge and experience in Auditing.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes.
• Proficiency in using Viewpoint Vista software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding and experience in Finance.
