Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements to provide clear and precise information about the company's financial status.
• Completing monthly close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Overseeing monthly reporting activities and ensuring timely delivery of reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Managing and forecasting cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
• Maintaining the company's ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial performance.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Providing financial advice to the management team, supporting them in making key business decisions.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA would be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the engineering industry.
• Proficiency in financial software and databases.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A strong understanding of the engineering industry would be a plus.
