Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires expertise in costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial management of the company, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.

• Oversee cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations.

• Develop and maintain costing models to improve pricing strategies and profitability analysis.

• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.

• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to optimize cost structures.

• Manage and mentor accounting team members to enhance overall financial performance.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong background in cost accounting, manufacturing, or distribution environments.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

• Knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
