We're seeking a dynamic Controller to oversee all financial operations for a complex business unit generating over $80M in annual revenue. Based near Irving, TX this strategic leader will play a pivotal role in driving financial clarity, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. What You'll Do:
- Provide high-level financial guidance to senior leadership, influencing key operational and strategic decisions.
- Lead the month-end close process and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting including full P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Retained Earnings statements.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Analyze and communicate business unit performance monthly and quarterly, highlighting key trends and growth opportunities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and manage inventory levels for optimal financial performance.
- Oversee the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Partner with internal teams and external auditors to support audit processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in both financial and operational performance.
- Lead a team of 3 finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous learning.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA required
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in an operations environment
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
- Proven ability to build relationships across departments and lead with influence, not just authority.
- A results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 plus annual bonus
