Summary
Summit Refrigerants is a national refrigerant reclaimer, supplier, and service provider to the HVACR industry. We are seeking an experienced financial controller. Acting as member of senior management, this position is a "hands-on" working role, responsible for performing or overseeing all accounting and financial matters for growing business with multiple locations. The successful candidate will show history of strong academic achievement, and demonstrated prior career accomplishments.
Responsibilities
• Develop keen understanding of business
• Manage daily financial activities and reporting
• Timely prepare customary financial reports and assist in analyses
• Manage financial assets, including a/r, inventory and cash
• Confirm compliance with established internal controls
• Assist with accounting activities at branch offices
• Participate in preparation of annual operating plans
• Confirm compliance with all federal, state and local tax matters
• Assist in business insurance renewals
• Compile reports and supporting documentation for internal, bank and insurance audits
• Manage outside financial audit
• Assist in planned implementation of ERP system
Skills and Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Strong work ethic
