Clayton Services is searching for a Controller to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The Controller must be bilingual in English and Mandarin and have previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $150,000-$180,000/year

Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end close process
- Ensure account journal entries
- Analysis of account balance
- Complete intercompany transactions
- Manage the accounting team
- Collaborate with the CFO
- Prepare budget and projects
- Prepare financial statements and relevant reports
- Continuous process improvement
- Implement internal controls
- Liaise with external CPA firms
- Review physical inventory to reconcile differences
- Collaborate with other departments
- Oversee the daily banking operations
- Oversee invoicing, AP, AR, and GL entries
- Oversee accruals, loan interest payments, and intercompany entities as required

Controller Education and Experience:
- A minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- A CPA license is preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant accounting experience, including previous experience as a controller, is required.
- Previous manufacturing experience is required.
- Previous cost accounting experience is required.
- Previous experience using NetSuite is highly desired.
