As a Controller with Venturity you will be both a strong individual contributor and team leader and will be responsible for managing and performing the month-end close process for a group of our clients, as well as directly supervising the work of Staff Accountants and Assistant Controllers. This is a NOT a remote position and will require you to work in our Dallas office.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Must have 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Experience with multi-company business
  • Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations
  • Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus
  • Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis required
  • Prior Controllership experience

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
