North Carolina and has ambitious plans for continued expansion.

service sector.
Position Summary
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller functions as a business partner with senior management to
effectively manage and control the business. Responsibilities include acquisition integration support,
general accounting, taxes/regulatory reporting, payables, billing/receivables, business analysis,
financial reporting, inventory, and banking activities. This role will play a key part in the upcoming
implementation of a new companywide ERP system. Position provides leadership to a team of
accounting and business support staff and is responsible for the performance management and
hiring/development of the employees within that department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Acts as a business partner to CFO and other senior leaders within the organization.
- Provides leadership and development to accounting and business support team.
- Establishes efficient company accounting procedures with an emphasis on strong internal controls.
- Monitors financial performance of the company.
- Leads month-end close process and compile/analyze financial reports.
- Assures adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company accounting policies.
- Oversees cash management, including company credit cards and bank accounts.
- Provides Leadership and support of accounts receivable/billing, accounts payable, project accounting/revenue recognition, and other accounting related functions.
- Responsible for fixed asset management and reporting.
- Manages and communicates company's key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinates the company's financial statement audit and reporting to the company's banking partners.
- Complies with local, state and federal government reporting and tax filings.
- Coordinates and oversees insurance requirements including annual insurance audits.
- ERP system implementation and management.
- Annual budget support and regular financial forecasting.
- Supports integration of newly acquired companies.
- Ensures the company's accounting system is accurate at all times and maximized for most efficient use.

- Willingness to travel between company locations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting designation (CPA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
- Immediate availability preferred but not required.
