About the Job :
Prepare and oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring audit readiness and effective coordination with external auditors.
Supervise accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
Lead annual budgeting process, including planning, coordinating, and reviewing department submissions.
Monitor weekly and monthly budget performance against actual results.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international financial regulations.
. Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with the VP of Finance and other team leads, providing insights into financial trends and potential issues.
Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional goals and projects.
Qualified candidates must have:
Minimum 5 years of Accounting Manager or Controller experience.
Finance / Accounting Degree with CPA designation.
3+ years of managerial experience with a proven track record in a financial-management role, resulting in the development and implementation of financial results.
Proficiency in database and accounting computer application systems.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
