SUMMARY

This is a hands-on financial services Controller position responsible for the overall financial

accounting, treasury and reporting functions, reporting directly to the CFO, in a high growth, rapidly

changing environment. The Controller will be responsible for all day-to-day operations including

financial reporting, financial analysis, tax compliance, including ensuring effective controls and

ongoing compliance and overseeing external audits and ensure timely communication to the CFO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Oversee all accounting services and operations of the accounting department;

Accurate and timely completion of the close process and company financial statements, for use by

investors, board members, senior management, lending institutions and other parties;

Develop and maintain internal controls for protection of company assets.

Consolidations, including international and foreign currency.

Significant treasury management experience.

Organize, lead and prepare organizational budgets and forecasts.

Analysis and reconciliation of GL accounts, commission calculations, etc.

Significant financial and operational analysis component;

Ensure all financial activity is in compliance with US GAAP and all applicable state and Federal

regulations and standards, and in compliance with internal control / policy requirements;

Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external financial and compliance audits;

Monitor accounting systems and data to ensure efficient and effective operations that facilitate the

high growth of the company;

Interact with management to provide consultative support to tactical and strategic initiatives through

accounting and management information analysis, reports and recommendations;

Monitor the finance / accounting department budget and establish controls and measure for

performance;

Liaison with all departments and drive change regarding effective accounting and financial policy

and processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Accounting and CPA required;

Credit card industry experience required

5+ years' minimum experience leading a corporate accounting team

Preference given to specific experience within financial services industry companies and high growth

environment

Advanced user of Excel-ability to analyze significant amounts of data required

Deadline oriented, with a sense of urgency for completion of tasks.

Ability to lead and motivate others.
