What You'll Do:
- Design and document electrical systems using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, including schematics, panel layouts, and system wiring diagrams.
- Develop detailed BOMs and technical documentation to guide build and integration.
- Specify and size electrical components that balance functionality, compliance, and cost.
- Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Support system build and commissioning phases, performing debugging and optimization.
- Uphold design standards in accordance with NFPA 79, UL, IEC, and other relevant codes.
What We're Looking For:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years in electrical hardware design for industrial automation or capital equipment.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
- Working knowledge of industrial control panel design, power distribution, and safety circuits.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator who thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% for project support.
