Job Description & Duties:- We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our Engineering Technology and Safety division.
- The Program Manager will work closely with the engineering delivery teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- The projects will span a variety of scopes, from in-service improvements to next-generation product development and technology advancements.
- Oversee the planning and execution of Engineering Development programs.
- Take accountability for the successful delivery of assigned projects, meeting cost, specification, and timeline requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the documentation necessary for project delivery.
- Administer project plans, including Microsoft Project and integration with the overall master schedule.
- Monitor and report the status of the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective customer relationship management.
- Make key program management decisions and engage stakeholders.
- Implement Project Management best practices aligned with company processes, driving continuous improvement and lean practices.
- Lead estimation activities for projects.
Required Qualifications:- Must be eligible for an Active Department of Defense issued Secret Clearance
- An Associate's degree is required, Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred
- Must have experience in software and hardware integration, including proficiency in C and Linux
- Must have experience in simulation, particularly with integration in engine controls; aerospace experience preferred, automotive experience considered
- Knowledge and experience of systems and software development lifecycles (V-model or W-model), with exposure to Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in a relevant discipline.
- Experience leading aerospace programs or products through certification and service introduction.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with MRP Primavera P6, MS Excel, data warehouse systems, and reporting tools.
- The ability to combine analytical, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and project management skills to lead projects effectively
- Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies is a plus, though not mandatory, experience with Waterfall methodologies is also valued.
- Membership in the Association of Program Management (or equivalent) is desirable.
