Control Systems Engineer $130-140k base salary We are currently collaborating with a prominent US-based building materials manufacturer seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer. This critical role will support and enhance control process operations across multiple company locations.
This position will operate on a hybrid basis in one of the following locations:
Dallas TX, Joplin MO, Tuscaloosa AL, Phillipsburg KS, Frederick MD, Knoxville TN, Inwood WV.
The Control Systems Engineer will focus on driving efficiency, automation, and reliability in control processes. A strong emphasis will be placed on the AVEVA System Platform, SCADA systems, SQL queries, and PLC hardware. You will join a dynamic cross-functional Controls team, working on long-term projects aimed at improving SCADA operations, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and resolving configuration challenges. Additionally, responsibilities include developing and writing SQL code, interpreting electrical drawings, creating company-wide standards, and providing essential training.
Key Skills & Experience: - Proven experience in SCADA systems, software development, and controls engineering.
- Expertise with AVEVA System Platform/Wonderware is essential.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of web handling production processes.
- Experience with PLCs, AutoCAD, and MS SQL Server is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 15% of the time.
