We are searching for a Control Systems Engineer on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) The Control Systems Engineer will be supporting the utility-scale BESS plants. Employees in this role have the responsibility of developing requirements-related processes and creating control systems requirements and for utility-scale energy storage projects. The Control Systems engineer will be able to develop controls logic, implement complex programs, create protocols for site verification, testing, troubleshooting, and certifying all control system project requirements are met.

This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2)
Duties & Responsibilities
• Work with equipment suppliers to perform factory integration testing of new hardware designs to validate requirements
• Develop processes for managing common and project-specific control system requirements across a large fleet of power plants
• Oversee development and implementation of all control system project requirements
• Support commissioning team during plant turnover
• Work with cross functional teams and support as plant controls SME for both internal and external customers Desired Experience:
• A subject matter expert in the Power Generation industry, with established expertise in power plant controls and renewable energy
• Ability to manage deliverables from domestic and foreign suppliers
• Experience developing and verifying software requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or technical degree in a related technical area
• 5+ years SCADA/Controls engineering experience
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally ( Preferred Qualifications
• Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer
• Master's Degree
• Multilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Korean) EOE of Minorities / Females / Vets / Disability.
