Control Systems Engineer
Location: Near to Austin, TX
Our client is a leading process automation and controls integrator, proving innovative automation solutions to the utilities, renewables, wastewater and industrial industry.
Duties:
- Develop and implement control systems that monitor and optimize machinery and processes, using Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and VTScada systems, and gain exposure to the latest in industrial controls and process automation.
- Take ownership of technical areas on large projects and manage smaller projects independently.
- Work with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and telemetry systems-especially Allen Bradley/Rockwell platforms.
- Provide field support for installation, start-up, and testing; calibrate instrumentation and ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, coordinate with project managers, and deliver clear updates to clients and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years in control systems engineering; wastewater experience is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA, and the ability to interpret electrical/mechanical CAD drawings.
- Strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.
